Parent Support Sessions

Parenting can feel overwhelming, particularly when your child is struggling and you’re no longer sure how best to help.

Parent support sessions give you space to look beyond the behaviour and think about what might be happening underneath. We can explore your child’s emotions, behaviour and needs, as well as the patterns and relationships within your family and how your own experiences may sometimes influence the way you respond.

Sessions can support parents navigating anxiety, emotional outbursts, school difficulties, neurodivergence, self-harm, family changes or simply feeling that nothing you try seems to be working.

This isn’t about telling you how to parent or looking for someone to blame. It’s about developing a greater understanding of what may be happening, exploring different ways of responding and finding practical approaches that fit your child and your family.

You can attend a parent support session whether or not your child is having counselling with me.
