When your child feels overwhelmed, shuts down, or struggles to explain what’s going on, it can be hard to know how to help.
I support children, young people and adults to make sense of what they’re feeling, at a pace that feels safe, manageable and understood.
You might be noticing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or changes in behaviour that don’t quite make sense.Perhaps things feel intense, confusing, or difficult to put into words, for you or for your child. Therapy offers a calm, supportive space to begin to understand what’s happening underneath, without pressure or judgement.
You might be looking for support if your child or young person is:
-
Feeling anxious or overwhelmed
-
Struggling with school or exam pressure
-
Finding it hard to talk about how you feel
-
Experiencing changes at home or in relationships
-
Not feeling like yourself or withdrawing from others

You don’t have to carry it all on your own.

I’m Sally, a therapist working with children, young people and adults. I provide a compassionate space to explore what you may be carrying and move towards a greater sense of understanding and stability.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in schools as a teacher, where I saw how early experiences shape how children see themselves and relate to the world.
I also bring personal insight into the connection between emotional experiences, chronic illness and overall wellbeing.
With a background in education and specialist training in working with children and young people, I bring both professional and real-world understanding to every session.
How I can help:
I have experience supporting a range of emotional and relational difficulties, including anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, and difficulties within relationships, family dynamics and early experiences.
This is a space to make sense of what's going on and feel more able to cope.

Location:
I work across Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes, and central Oxford, offering both in-person and online counselling.
If you are wondering whether counselling might help, you are very welcome to get in touch.
We can have an initial conversation to talk things through and see whether this feels like the right support.
